【摘要】:Thinflexiblecards,thesubjectofthisInternationalStandard,areusedtoautomatethecontrolsforaccesstogoodsorservicessuchasmasstransit,highwaytollsystems,carparks,vouchers,storedvalue,etc.Fortheseapplications,datacanbewrittenand/orreadbymachinesusingvariousrecordingtechniquessuchasmagneticstripe,opticalcharacterrecognition(OCR),barcode,etc.ThispartofISO/IEC15457specifiesthemagneticstripeandencodingcharacteristicsofthinflexiblecardsattwopointsinthecardlifecycle:1.atthepointofloadingintothecardissuingequipment;2.atthepointofissuetothepublic.Guidanceconcerningthestorageandusageoffinishedcards(includingmagneticstripecards)undervariousenvironmentalconditionsisgiveninISO/IEC15457-1.
