【摘要】:Tintingstrengthisoneofthemostimportantpropertiesofawhitepigment.Thistestmethodprovidesameansoftestingthispropertyforqualitycontrol.Thistestmethodisarefereemethod,andthevehicleforpreparingthedispersionandtheblackfortintingaresuggested,butothersmaybeusedprovidedboththepurchaserandtheselleragreetothechanges.Theresultsobtainedwithamullerdonotnecessarilyagreewithindustrialsituationswheredifferentdispersingconditionsexist.However,dispersingwithamullerisafast,relativelyinexpensivewayoftestingtintingstrengthforroutinequalitycontrol.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheprocedurefordeterminingtherelativetintingstrengthofwhitepigmentsbyreflectancemeasurementsofblacktints.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableonlyforcomparingthetestpigmentwithareferencestandardofthesametypeandgrade.Note18212;TestMethodD332describesaprocedureforvisualassessmentofblue-tintedsamples.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
