【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationdescribesthemanufacturingrequirementsforsprayshieldstockandthefabricationandinstallationrequirementsforsprayshieldsmadefromthatstock.1.1.1Sections2-14addressthemanufacturingrequirementsforthesprayshieldstock.AnnexA1addressesthefabricationandinstallationrequirementsforthesprayshields.1.1.2Fig.1showsthetypicalconstructionofasprayshield.Figs.2-6showmethodsofinstallationofasprayshieldonvariousmechanicaljoints.1.2Theshieldsareintendedforusearoundmechanicaljoints(flanged,boltedunions,andsoforth)inliquidpipingsystemstopreventtheimpingementofflammableliquidonhotsurfacesorfluidsontoelectricalswitchboardsandcomponentsresultingfromaleakinthemechanicaljoint.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
